RI Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RI RID) is an Affiliate Chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), a national membership organization of professionals who provide sign language interpreting and transliterating services for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.

The Deaf Studies, Culture, and History Archives (DSA) was established to ensure that the cultural heritage and lives of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) and connected Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and hard of hearing (“Deaf”) communities are preserved.

RIT Libraries has an NTID reference librarian who teach classes and create InfoGuides, answer reference questions, assist in exhibits, and is the liaison for Deaf Studies, Culture and History Archives.

A local food pantry program serving the Deaf community in Rochester, New York. You can find us on the Rochester School for the Deaf campus. We're open on Wednesdays from 9-11 am and Sundays from 1-4 pm. Please only visit us during our designated open hours.

The SASED Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program serves students with identified hearing loss from the 92 member school districts of DuPage/West Cook Regional Association.  The Early Childhood through 8th grade classrooms are located in several schools throughout the SASED member districts in DuPa

The SayWhatClub is an international nonprofit, tax-exempt organization run by volunteers with hearing loss. They offer peer-to-peer support to all people with hearing loss and deafness.

The Division of Rehabilitation Services administers programs that provide services to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech impediments.  Any individual who is deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and late-deafened and is a resident of South Dakota is eligible.
