About

STEAM Forward! Academy provides in-person and virtual hands-on activities for students.  Our mission is to inspire youth to pursue science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with confidence, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine sense of belonging!

Combined, our instructors have over 40 years of teaching, mentoring & STEAM outreach experience.  They bring their enthusiasm, knowledge and real-life experience to every session.

Our workshops are geared towards children in grades K-12. We offer single session and multi-week, cohort-based programs throughout the year. The curriculum includes a range of activities across the STEM fields. During each workshop, students follow along in an exploratory manner as the instructor provides step-by-step instructions. Additionally, the instructor will cover learning objectives, vocabulary, and fundamental concepts to go beyond just performing the demo.

Our virtual programs offer ASL interpretation and captioning services to make each session accessible.
