ASL Coffee Chat is a chance for anyone who enjoys American Sign Language to get together, chat, practice, meet new friends, and learn new signs. It doesn't matter if ASL is your first language or you only know a few signs. The event is about tri-monthly. The date may be varies.

A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization working to enhance the potential of infants and young children with disabilities by offering support to their families and the early intervention professionals who serve them.
Monthly meeting and social activities for deaf persons age 50 and over. Meets every third Thursday of the month beginning at 10:00a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hermitage. (Lunch is after the meeting.)

NETRID meets monthly at ETSU Disability Services, 3rd floor of the Culp Center. (Contact us for the schedule.) NETRID provides educational opportunities for sign language interpreters who are certified or working toward certification, and for sign language students wanting to improve skills.

The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID), a national membership organization, plays a leading role in advocating for excellence in the delivery of interpretation and transliteration services between people who use sign language and people who use spoken language.
Informal socializing between Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing people. Meets the 2nd Friday of each month at different shopping mall food courts in the greater Memphis area.
