LEAP: Leadership, Experience, and Adventure Program
Have you ever wanted to get to know others your age who also are deaf or hard of hearing? The Leadership Experience and Adventure Program (LEAP) offers this opportunity virtually for high school teens to connect with other teens who are deaf or hard of hearing! There are activities that not only allow you to engage with other teens but help you become more self-aware and focus on leadership, life and work skills. You will learn to navigate virtual technology and participate in a variety of fun activities to improve your technical skills. As the world becomes more digital, this program will help you become more comfortable and prepared with technology.
Activities are run by adults who are deaf or hard of hearing and have real-world experience of being a leader in a digital world.
By joining in LEAP, you will:
- Build new connections and relationships with teens and adults who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Gain a better understanding of who you are and build leadership skills.
- Feel more comfortable navigating a virtual environment that will help you in school, work, and social situations.
