Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf (RDSPD) in Texas were instituted by the Texas Education Agency to provide quality services to all students in Texas who are deaf or hearing impaired.

The Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is the first public school to have district and state approval as a Dual Language program, qualifying students for the Seal of Biliteracy.

St. Joseph's School for the Deaf will maximize the potential of each student and foster competence in literacy, critical thought, citizenship and personal independence through educational experiences that are purposeful, equitable and engaging.

It is the mission of Summit Speech School to empower children with hearing loss to become effective communicators using listening and spoken language.

Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children promotes early identification and intervention for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and helps them develop their maximum potential through listening, spoken language and literacy.

The Thayer Lindsley Family-Centered Program provides group and individual services to young children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. As a family-centered program, parents/caregivers are supported to actively facilitate their child’s communication development.
