0-5 Parent Outreach, PEARS of Family Voices, and Tennessee Hands & Voices will be at this fun, family event in Johnson City on the campus of ETSU on October 19th from 10-2. Sponsored by the Junior League of Johnson City. We will have a table there so please come see us all so we know you are there!

In honor of Deaf Awareness Month + Wine Education Week, City Winery Nashville is offering two interpreted wine experiences for the Nashville Deaf community!

Come see the winemaking facility and learn how wine is made from grape to glass, with sommelier Laura Grisham and interpreter Laura Brown! Then taste 4 wines made right here in downtown Nashville, paired with tasty meats and cheeses.

4:00 and 5:00 tours, only 20 spots available at each time, must have tickets!

Our Meeting is this Saturday, September 14th, 2019

from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for a potluck luncheon,
and from 1:30 to 2:30 pm for a brief meeting, followed by our speaker, Ann Rancourt, National Walk4Hearing Manager. She will speak about the recent Walk held here in Nashville and co-hosted by our Nashville Chapter. Many of our members participated as walkers and volunteers in this annual event to educate the public about hearing loss.

We have Nashville Chapter Tennessee Association of the Deaf at 10:30 a.m. business meeting followed by "Welcome Back to School" themed party. Bring:Sides for the main dish (We are providing the meat).  Cost: $5 if you don't bring a side, dessert or drinks. This club is mostly Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults to socialize in American Sign Language even thou everyone is welcome to attend!
