AIDB is part of Alabama’s Early Intervention System. Services are provided to eligible children, birth to 3 years of age, at no cost to families. A complete developmental evaluation/assessment is given to determine the eligibility of a child.
AIDB is the nation’s most comprehensive education, rehabilitation, and employment system serving individuals who are deaf, blind, deafblind, and multidisabled, and their families.
Classroom instruction for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, Low Vision, DeafBlind, and typically developing children in the Tuscaloosa Regional Center counties.
