The Tennessee Performing Arts Center will offer open captioning for celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain’s appearance. The show is titled “Close to the Bone.”  Tickets designated for open captioning, in the front of the orchestra, are available on a first come/first serve basis through June 30th.

Chef, author, and storyteller Anthony Bourdain is best known for traveling the globe on his stomach, daringly consuming some of the world’s most exotic dishes on his hit TV shows Parts Unknown on CNN, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and The Layover. Somewhat notoriously, he has established himself as a professional gadfly, bête noir, advocate, social critic, and pork enthusiast, recognized for his caustic sense of humor worldwide. He is as unsparing of those things he hates, as he is evangelical about his passions. For one night only, Bourdain will spend the evening sharing candid, unyielding insights about his life’s work and travels, including an open question and answer session with the audience.
