Raven Sutton
Raven is originally from Alabama, and now she currently resides in Maryland. Raven received her Bachelors and masters degrees in Social Work from Gallaudet University. Her goal is to develop her own practice as a Dance Therapist for the at-risk youth community. She believes that self-expression plays a valuable part in discovering who you are. Currently Raven is a Survivor Resource Specialist for Deaf Domestic and Sexual Violence Survivors at Deaf DAWN in Washington, D.C.
Raven is a dancer and an ASL performer. She has had the passion of dancing since her early childhood. Her love for music and dancing made her realize that the music industry is not accessible for the Deaf community. As an ASL performer, Raven has gained the platform to spread Deaf Awareness to many of her followers. Her goal is to be able to work in the music industry as an ASL performer to interpret music and advocate for inclusivity and access.
