Come and meet our Guest Speaker, Don Cabbage, Project Team Leader for Mockingbird. He will discuss plans for building the Retirement Center and Deaf Friendly Community. He will answer questions for you.

LUNCH: After the event we will all have lunch at the yacht club, to eat and socialize. Lunch is being provided by the Harbor Island Yacht Club.
ACTIVITY FORM: Due to the popularity of this event, reservations will now be required! The activity confirmation form (in the attached newsletter) must be submitted and returned by Wednesday, September 9, 2015.

Presentations include: "Physical Activity for Children with Visual Impairments and Multiple Disabilities"; "Communication Matrix"; and "Challenging Behaviors and Effective Interventions."
The program will run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm each day

The 2015 Deaf Tennessean Expo will take place during the Tennessee Association of the Deaf Convention. Please come and visit the booths to learn more about Deaf culture and the Deaf community! It is open to the public!

This annual workshop provides in-service training programs for teachers and K-12 interpreters and informational sessions for parents. Related exhibits, a continental breakfast and box lunches are included in the registration fee. Interpreters and CART are available upon request. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

The quarterly meeting of the Tennessee Council for the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing. Meetings are held in the conference room on the 2nd floor. Interpreters and CART are provided.
