TEIS, Office of Early Childhood Services, Tennessee Department of Education, is a statewide home-based program for families of infants and toddlers from birth to age 3 with hearing loss, vision loss, or developmental delays. TEIS works in partnership with families to provide the knowledge, skills, and support to encourage the growth and development of their young child with special needs. Services are provided on an individual basis. Information from the child’s doctor as well as the results of a developmental test will determine if a child meets the eligibility criteria in Tennessee.
