Tempest Stokes, a Deaf artist of Afro-Jamaican descent, was born deaf in a hearing family from Raleigh, NC. As the founder of Oya Reigns, she initiated the venture as a therapeutic outlet during a year of remote work due to COVID-19. Her aim was to introduce a natural, handmade organic soap solution catering to various skincare needs. With a background in social work, she recognizes personal hygiene as a crucial aspect of mental health and endeavors to empower others with the mantra "Be clean and Glow," reflected in her slogan.
All of her products are crafted with natural ingredients, handmade with love, and are organic, cruelty-free, and infused with an extra touch of passion. These products are designed to benefit individuals dealing with conditions like depression, anxiety, and stress. They not only empower and uplift the spirit but also promote mindful strength and optimism. And yes, they are unisex products.
