Effective Communication for Patients and Their Companions Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

If you need American Sign Language interpretation (ASL), we have several options to assist you. If you have an appointment, we will be happy to pre-schedule an ASL interpreter through instant remote interpretive services (IRIS) or with an in-person interpreter.

We want to ensure our patients understand the provider’s assessment of their medical condition and treatment options essential to providing quality patient care.

For the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

We will make every effort to provide you with a qualified American Sign Language interpreter. If an interpreter is not available, we will provide communication in a way you can understand.
