If you need American Sign Language interpretation (ASL), we have several options to assist you. If you have an appointment, we will be happy to pre-schedule an ASL interpreter through instant remote interpretive services (IRIS) or with an in-person interpreter. If you come in an emergency situation that is not scheduled in advance, we will immediately offer you your preference of something to write with, an UbiDuo device, and/or video interpretation through IRIS. Then, we will get an in-person interpreter, as appropriate. All interpretation services are free of charge to our patients and families.
