The Office of Deaf Services is an agency-wide policy and program development office for the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

The mission of this organization is to meet the needs of African American/Black interpreters in the field of sign language interpreting with respect to recruitment, networking, professional development, moral support, training and research opportunities.
