Mission Statement

KCDHH provides coordination and registration of sign language interpreters for the deaf, hard of hearing and individuals that have speech and language impairments.

The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD) provides people who are d/Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing with programs, services, and resources to ensure full communication access to the world around them.

For the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

We will make every effort to provide you with a qualified American Sign Language interpreter. If an interpreter is not available, we will provide communication in a way you can understand.

Access to vocational rehabilitation services are provided to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services. Visit the website for more information on interpreter access.
