About

The Tennessee Association of the Deaf is an organization whose primary objectives are to (1) promote the educational, economic and social welfare of deaf and hard of hearing people and (2) to protect the citizenship rights and privileges of deaf and hard of hearing people. The association consists of six local chapters that conduct activities which include social events and monthly meetings. The Deaf Tennessean is the official newsletter of the Association and is published quarterly.
