Mission Statement
PCRID's mission is to support the continued growth and development of the sign language interpreting profession.
PCRID is committed to advancing the quality, professionalism and integrity of sign language interpreting in Maryland and the District of Columbia through education, information and advocacy. 
It is the mission of RID to provide international, national, regional, state and local forums and an organizational structure for the continued growth and development of the profession of interpretation and transliteration of American Sign Language and English.
