Chattanooga School of Language

CSL is a Chattanooga‑based private language school founded in 2011, offering instruction in over 10 languages, including ASL, to learners of all ages and proficiency levels through small-group classes and customized lessons. They emphasize immersive teaching, cultural engagement, and flexible scheduling in both virtual and in‑person formats.

Services:

 ASL group classes for adults and kids (ages 14+ and under 14) with levels from True Beginner through Advanced, held four 10‑week terms per year. Adult classes run ~6:00–7:45 pm Eastern, start on specific dates (e.g., week of July 7, 2025) and cost ~$389 per term. 

Classes are taught by instructors fluent in ASL (some Deaf or native signers), in immersive environments discouraging spoken English and minimizing written English aligning with recommended methods for effective ASL learning.
