TRANSCRIPT/LYRICS:

[In the beginning of the video, Nathie is preparing to sign the song. She sighs, pauses, and then starts signing in a grand opera-like eloquence. There are images of various landscapes, people sitting and "dreaming" among wildflowers, by sunset at lake, etc. There are footage of Nathie signing on stage in 1989? Other footage she is signing in her office 2011? and the remainder of the footage is a clear shot of her signing the song at GURC's Grand opening at Austin Community College last year.]

Here are the lyrics:

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

[At the end, she is holding an imaginary star with a bright smile. Then the video freezes and text is displayed: In Loving Memory Dr. Nathie Marbury, teacher, storyteller, actor, mentor, daughter, sister, mother, friend, role model, and pioneer in field of: linguistics, asl, black deaf culture, storytelling, and many more... and the screen turns black and there are stars and text that comes up "She is the unreachable star".]
