Description Of Services:

This hearing aid collection and recycling program is a partnership of the Sertoma Club of Nashville, the Bill Wilkerson Center @ Vanderbilt, the Dept of Audiology @ TSU, Bridges, and the Nashville Chapter of HLAA and is designed to: 1) provide hearing aids to qualified low income people in Middle TN and remove the barriers hearing loss creates so that deaf and hard of hearing individuals can function more effectively; and 2) provide a mean of recycling used hearing aids for the benefit of many with hearing loss who can't afford new ones. Collection sites for used hearing aids are all Middle TN YMCA's, Fifty Forward Centers in Davidson & Williamson Counties, Bridges, and the Library Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Nashville Public Library-Main). Used hearing aids can also be mailed to Nashville Sertoma Clubs, PO Box 1253, Hendersonville, TN 37077.
