CampSummer Sign is an eight week day camp for deaf children and their siblings or CODAs.

Students between the ages of 6 and 14 are able to sign up to come to camp.

We take the students on field trips throughout the summer and have one big performance at the end of the summer for the parents to see their child preform.

The application is not available at the time and will be put on the library website when it is ready.

9th Annual WellFEST is the only annual health and wellness exposition in the Nashville area that is fully accessible to individuals with any level of hearing loss. This free event will feature health screenings, informational booths, and other programming to help you live your best life!

WellFEST offers a variety of educational presentations and health screenings, all fully accessible to those with different levels of hearing loss through interpreters, loop systems, communication access real-time translation (CART) and other assistive technology.  In addition, the scope of this year’s event has expanded with new focus on legal issues, such as creating wills, advance directives, and powers of attorney (durable, medical, general), as well as situational awareness emergency preparedness.

Parking:  Free parking is available across from the old Nashville Sounds parking lot on Chestnut Street. A free shuttle will be provided.  There is no parking available at Bridges or the parking lot (formerly church building) next door.

Food Truck:  Bring money for lunch. The food truck will serve lunch from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

The spring season is here now. This event is great for everyone - deaf and hard of hearing, ASL learners and interpreters!   You will enjoy looking around the public park that was created by God. "Prayer Hike" is an opportunity to slow down with Him and enjoy the beauty of nature. It will allow you an opportunity to engage your faith while being active and meeting others. For the first time ever, deaf high school and college students will have the opportunity to tour the Middle Tennessee State University main campus. I will be your assistant tour guide along with a MTSU trained tour guide. We will walk about a mile - past 234 permanent buildings on 466 acres of land. The tour will last up to 2 hours. Learn what MTSU offers - the courses, fast food, dorms, recreational facilities and programs and much more! It is
Tennessee's Best College - ranked 56th in the universities in the US.
