Our Summer Youth Camps are designed for middle and high school students up to the age of 19. Our programs provide stimulating summer learning and experiential opportunities that blend excitement, education, and enjoyment in a bilingual environment rich in cultural diversity and located just minutes away from the U.S. Capitol.
Bison Brainiacs: Designed for deaf and hard of hearing students entering Grades 10-12 who want to explore the world of science and technology. There is no registration fee for this camp!

This training is offered to professionals in the Southeast Region (including AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN) who meet specific eligibility qualifications and who are interested in providing VCSL assessments to young signing DHH children in their home states, so if you are aware of any other individuals in the Southeastern region, feel free to send this flyer to them as well!

In order to qualify for the VCSL Evaluator Training, applicants must provide evidence of the following:

Come to the Deaf Services Office on Halloween Day to pick up your free bag of candy. If you come in costume we will enter you in a drawing for a variety of gift cards. We will also be giving away hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and a drink! You must RSVP so we can get a head count for food. Look for more information in your email or on our Facebook page.
