Family Voices of TN PEARS is a statewide program that directly supports families and their children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing by connecting them with a Parent Guide and providing the opportunity to connect with a D/deaf or Hard of Hearing Guide.  FVTN PEARS provides individualized information, resources, & support from parents who have lived experience raising a child who is D/deaf or hard of hearing.  FVTN PEARS is contracted by the TN Department of Health Newborn Hearing Screening Program to provide family support to families who have newly diagnosed children who are D/deaf or

Helping to bridge the gap of communication between Deaf and Hearing in our communities.  This is a 12 session course (about 3 months), level 1.  Aimed at helping you become conversation ready, while expanding your knowledge of Deaf culture, ASL grammar and syntax.

Classes start May 3, 2022   6:15pm - 7:45 pm on Zoom.

Registration: $30

This is a learning opportunity provided by TSD Outreach Servcies for families with children identified with hearing loss/hearing concerns and professionals who serve them. Each gathering has information that is relevant to families with a deaf/HH/Deafblind child. Danna Conn and Suzanne Dinwiddie of teh Deafblind Project will be the speakers.

Bring your little yogis to the DreamBank Facebook page for an imaginative session on the mat! Yoga instructors from little om BIG OM will weave stories, games and music together for a fun class that helps kids increase their focus, get active and discover new confidence in their abilities! ASL interpretation will be provided for this event.
