TOWN HALL MEETING ON INTERPRETER LICENSURE

Wednesday, January 29, 2020 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Bridges for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
935 Edgehill Avenue
Nashville, TN 37203

We invite the Deaf community and the interpreting community in Middle Tennessee to attend. All stakeholders are welcome. RSVP information is below. Interpreting and CART will be provided.

Wednesday, January 29th. Two sessions. First Session: 11am to 1pm. Second Session: 5pm to 7pm. You may attend one or both. Both sessions will cover the same material.

You must RSVP here: https://hipaa.jotform.com/200234506159145

Like all the people who would be impacted by interpreter licensure, we must consider whether or not we will support legislation to create it. We want your feedback and insight. We serve you.

As always, we will have ground rules for the Town Hall, expecting open, respectful, and kind conversation that doesn't point fingers, accuse, complain, or relive history. We respect differing perspectives and agree to learn from one another. We focus only on what is best for our community. We agree to enter as friends and colleagues and to leave as friends and colleagues.

We know this is short notice, but we want to have this meeting before certain legislative deadlines next week. We hope you can join us!
