Signal Centers is sponsoring an Accessible Technology Summit, in participation with the eighth annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). This one day summit  will include lunch, two breakout sessions presented by experts in their fields, a keynote presentation by Haben Girma (Harvard Law School's first DeafBlind graduate), and a closing reception. If you are a business wanting to ensure you are staying on top of federal accessibility regulations, a web developer wanting to make your websites more accessible, or an individual with a disability who simply wants to know your rights as an employee, this summit is for you.

Tickets are available for $35, if purchased in advance; $45 at the door.  To register, click on this link.  Admission will include lunch, two breakout sessions, keynote speaker and reception.  Scholarships for Deaf-Blind individuals available to cover the fee admission.

Plans are being made to provide transportation to Chattanooga from Nashville, provided Bridges’ new shuttle bus if delivered in time.  If you are interested in riding the shuttle bus (or van), please send an email to TODB at jc.forbes@comcast.net requesting a reservation.  Reservations will be on a first come-first serve basis.  A nominal fee may apply.  Please place “Transportation Reservation” in the subject line of your email.  If you do make a reservation, you will be notified if this ride does not materialize to make other arrangements.
