Can’t make it to Louisville for this year’s Kentucky Derby?

Join Bridges for the third annual Music City Derby Day – Chomping at the Bit for Bridges event on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m., as we recreate the magic of Churchill Downs and raise money for programs and services for the Deaf and hard of hearing.

Dress in your best Derby duds and festive headwear as we watch live coverage of the Kentucky Derby. Mint Juleps will be awaiting you, so come out and take a crack at the silent auction and cheer on your favorite celebrity jockey during the stick-horse races!

We’re proud to host head coach for the TSU Tigers basketball team Dana Ford and his wife Christina as Honorary Chairs this year. Learn more about them in this featured News article, and as former celebrity jockeys...don’t be surprised to see them make a strong finish on the stick-horse track!

The proceeds of the event benefit over 207,000 individuals in middle Tennessee with hearing loss, and fund programs and services provided by Bridges, Nashville’s premier nonprofit resource for the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. Your support will help us continue providing superior services such as our after school program, wellness classes, and case management services to Deaf and hard of hearing children and adults who face communication barriers in the hearing world. Bridges helps to remove those barriers through American Sign Language interpreters, community education and outreach, and other programs.
