Mayor of Nashville
“A Forum on Disability Issues”
Thursday, July 9 at 6:00 p.m.
Bridges’s Multipurpose Room
935 Edgehill Avenue, Nashville
Moderated by Wendy Tucker
The forum will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and will end around 7:00 p.m., followed by an opportunity to meet and greet the candidates.
We hope you will join other community leaders, advocates, and grassroots activists as the candidates express their views and plans on accessibility and inclusion. Topics to be covered include transportation, education, recreation, and other aspects of city government.
Please RSVP by emailing Tracy at ts@bridgegsfordeafandhh.org no later than Monday, July 6 as light refreshments will be served. Parking and seating will be limited.
Parking is available at Bridges for individuals in need of handicap accessible parking only and only in the marked spaces. Individuals not in need of accessible parking may park at the church next door to Bridges.
Organizations represented on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee include: Bridges, Disability Rights Tennessee, Friends Life, Hands On Nashville, Harris Hillman Special Education School, Middle Tennessee Center for Independent Living, Middle Tennessee Council of the Blind, and Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
