2015 Tennessee School for the Deaf Family Learning Weekend

Our focus this year is on Critical Issues in Deaf Education: Transitions from secondary to post-secondary settings. Presentations include information from state agencies providing services and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing as they transition into college or career settings.  Topics such as Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy will be included as well as where to locate and how to secure Interpreters, Transcription or Cart services, Vocational Rehabilitation and much more. Learning skills for successful transitions begin early and applies to all ages.

Registration for FLW is $25.00 for a family bringing up to five members. For additional family members please add $5.00 per person. Sign-in/Registration will be Friday afternoon, May 29, from 4:00- 8:30pm.

Please return the registration form with your registration fee by May 1, 2015. For those needing lodging, cottage availability is limited so please turn in your forms as quickly as possible.  Checks or money orders should be made payable to: PTCA ofTSD.
