What: One-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:

  • Special education law, rights and responsibilities
  • Tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
  • SMART IEPs
  • Introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy

Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. When: Tuesday, February 24, 2015 8:00am - 4:30pm *Sign in begins at 8am; training starts promptly at 9am

Rates through January 31, 2015: $150 for self-advocates or family members (includes one-year membership in The Arc); $135 for members of The Arc (with no CEUs or CLEs); $250 for professionals with CEUs or CLEs; $235 for members of The Arc with CEUs or CLEs.

Rates as of February 1, 2015: $200 for self-advocates or family members (includes one-year membership in The Arc); $185 for members of The Arc (with no CEUs or CLEs); $300 for professionals with CEUs or CLEs; $285 for members of The Arc with CEUs or CLEs.
