Greg and Jeanette Summerville will be our guests, sharing their experiences about the School for the Deaf in Guatemala, where they are directors. (School website: guatemaladeafministries.org. They use LSG (Lenguaje de señas Guatemalteco) to communicate and have a lot of exciting stories and information to share, as well as opportunities for YOU to be a part of it!
WE NEED YOUR RSVP BY OCTOBER 31ST, so we can plan for food and to make sure we have enough people coming, so it won't be cancelled. If no one is interested, then they will cancel.
The event will take place immediately following the second service. The second service starts at 11am. It is interpreted. Following the service, we will go straight to the Community Room. (Follow the signs or ask someone where it is.)
Afterwards, for those who are interested, The Sign Club Co. is rehearsing at the Hendersonville Church of Christ on Rockland Road (very close to Community) for the Hendersonville Christmas Parade, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
