Educational Objectives: (List specific observable actions by participants that will
demonstrate comprehension and integration of information presented):
     • Participants will be given an overview of the four domains covered in the RID CDI written and performance exam:
              o  Professional Role and Responsibilities
              o  Service Delivery Preparation
              o  Provision of Services
              o  Post-Service Closure
     •  Participants will be familiarized with RID Code of Ethics and RID Code of Professional Conduct with terminology and history of RID.
     •  Participants will receive ethical scenarios and be asked to apply RID Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct through their decision   making process.
     •  Participants will receive some basic hands-on experience of interpreting in those four areas:
              o  Simultaneous Interpreting
              o  Consecutive Interpreting
              o  Translation of Text
              o  Mirror/Platform Interpreting
