Sign With Me, Volume 1: Building Conversations

Part of an instructional sign language series for hearing parents of deaf children age birth to three. In Volume 1, Building Conversations, basic signs which can be used with children everyday are presented. Also you will learn how to sign short, simple and expressive sentences, follow your child's lead in communicating, use facial expressions and body movement to support signed messages, understand a variety of adult and child signers, and use positive parenting skills to improve your child's communication development. Included are two DVDs containing eight lessons each with five activities or games family members can use with your deaf child and two DVDs with open-captioned versions of these lessons.
