Hybrid Workshop - Presented in ASL
January 26th, 2024 from 6-9pm CENTRAL TIME
Workshop Description: Have you ever experienced a time where your brain felt so full of information that it was difficult to continue processing information? As sign language interpreters, we handle information overload on a daily basis. During this workshop, you will learn tips and tricks for “flushing” extra information from your brain. Participants will discuss Demand/Control Schema and how it can apply to daily interpreting assignments as well as coping techniques to combat cognitive overload.
