Guest Speaker: Stephen Martini from the Department of Emergency Communication on topic,
TEXT TO 911 ACCESSIBILITY
We'll be having a guest speaker, Stephen Martini (with the Department of Emergency Communications at Metro Nashville), who will be talking about "Text to 911"! Stephen's presentation will highlight what happens when callers (hard of hearing / deaf individuals) text 9-1-1 and the various ways emergency responders interact with hard of hearing / deaf individuals.
So join us to learn more about what to do during a 9-1-1 emergency through texts! CART captioning and an Interpreter will be provided!
We will be having finger foods/appetizers and desserts. Please bring your favorite finger food, dessert, or drink to share.
Bottled water, sodas, and ice will be provided.
We will have door prizes! Bring your family and friends! Hope to see you all there!
