MAKING CONNECTIONS WITH THE DEAF-BLIND COMMUNITY:
In recognition of the achievements of people who are deaf-blind, we are celebrating Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week during the last week of June.
Sometimes when you least expect it, you experience an interaction that can change your life forever. We want to inspire people to look for those moments and consciously create mutually awe-inspiring connections inclusive of members of the deaf-blind community. HKNC and its partners are engaging with people who are deaf-blind and making real connections. We all have the power to connect and create relationships that transcend any of our differences and bring enrichment to our lives and to our community.
