ONE NIGHT ONLY. This special performance of Visual Vernacular Underground is for our Community (D/deaf, Deaf-Blind, and hard of hearing). We have limited space, so reserve your seat. The event is free to our community, but we always welcome your gifts.

Carl Sherard from the Tennessee Council for the Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing will be attending to discuss what he does and to hear the concerns of the community.

Guest Speaker: Stephen Martini from the Department of Emergency Communication on topic,
TEXT TO 911 ACCESSIBILITY
We'll be having a guest speaker, Stephen Martini (with the Department of Emergency Communications at Metro Nashville), who will be talking about "Text to 911"! Stephen's presentation will highlight what happens when callers (hard of hearing / deaf individuals) text 9-1-1 and the various ways emergency responders interact with hard of hearing / deaf individuals.
