Join us for our first meeting of 2017!  

Please bring a covered dish to share for lunch:  Soup, Salads, Rolls/Bread, Desserts, Drinks. Lunch begins at noon.

A speaker from the Police Dept. will talk with us about safety. The meeting and program will be interpreted and open captioned.

Don't forget to bring $$ -- our yearly membership renewals begin this month.  Only $10 for individuals, and $15 for couples. We appreciate your support of our Chapter!

Join us for a Christmas Cookie Exchange and Tree Trimming!
Bring two dozen of your favorite holiday treats to trade for other tasty morsels.
You may also bring an ornament to help trim our Christmas tree.

This event will serve as the fourth #IdeaExchange,
so please come ready to share any feedback...or to just have fun!

The East Tennessee Deaf Senior Citizens have a weekly social every Wednesday at Knoxville Center of the Deaf that often includes games, cards, snacks, and catching up with the community.

"Miracle on 34th Street," The Musical - based on the 1947 film where Kris Kringle takes on the cynics and wins. Meredith Willson added music and lyrics in 1963 and called it 'Here's Love,' but it wasn't until it was revitalized in 2007 in a new production that it became a hit musical.

This performance will be captioned.

Bring a wrapped White Elephant gift for our annual fun exchange game.  (White Elephant gifts are those items you have at home that you no longer want. They should be in good shape with a value of no more than $5 - $10)

The intrepid Phileas Fogg with his loyal valet, Passepartout, voyage from Victorian London through the Indian subcontinent, to Asia and across the Pacific to America on a wager that he will return in precisely 80 days. Literally, a theatrical tour-de-force. This play will be interpreted. 

This production may employ the use of theatrical haze and/or fog.

Trunk n Treat - We are looking for 10-12 cars to park and decorate their car trunks and distribute candies to the children. Please see Phil Beam if you are interested in park your car.

ASL Coffee Chat is a chance for anyone who enjoys American Sign Language to get together, chat, practice, meet new friends, and learn new signs. It doesn't matter if ASL is your first language or you only know a few signs. THIS IS THE SECOND EVENT FOR THE DEAF COMMUNITY!
