Come and gain a working knowledge of special education laws, including your role in the development of an appropriate education program (IEP) and how to be an effective partner with the school team in the process.

This is a FREE event so bring the whole family regardless of age or hearing level!

Families with a child on the TNDB Census may attend free of charge. A limited number of hotel rooms are available at no cost to families.

Dr. Jan van Dijk is internationally renown in the field of DeafBlindness, pioneering the assessment and teaching processes for children with dual sensory loss and other disabilities.

An opportunity to learn about the SKI*HI Deaf Mentor Program at the 2016 Statewide Workshop for Teachers, Parents, and Other Professionals Serving Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Join us for KCTAD's "Welcome Back" Cook Out on September 17th! Come down to KCD and watch the UT vs Ohio game on the SEC Network with us. We will have cornhole boards set up and ready to play. We will also be cooking out, so come hungry! For $5, you can get either one hamburger or two hotdogs, both of which come with a bag of chips and a drink. All the "fixin's" will be provided! Still hungry?? No worries--you can get extra for only $2.50!

Come celebrate Deaf Awareness Month at Mud Island on September 17th from 10am-4pm for FREE! There will be museum tickets, educational and fun activities for adults and children, and more.

TSD Comprehensive Educational Resource Center invites parents, caregivers and families of children who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and Deaf with other disabilities ages Birth - 21 to attend. Schedule to include Friday evening dinner and family activities. Saturday will include parent work-shops, student activities and meals.

Registration:  $30 for a family bringing up to five members.
