In this online webinar with Dr. Richard Jeffries, the Director of the Outreach Programs at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, you'll learn simple strategies that you can use to build your child's confidence and foster a love of reading that will last a lifetime.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the role that incidental learning plays in vocabulary development as well as the role that technology plays in facilitating a child’s ability to overhear.
2. Understand how talking and reading with a child builds his/her vocabulary.
3. Learn listening and spoken language strategies to help build a child’s vocabulary.
