Open to all in the Deaf and hard of hearing communities, this community event will feature an expert from Disability Rights Tennessee (DRT) sharing about the Americans with Disabilities Act and how to gain communication access and equality in a hearing world. Following this educational session, department supervisors from Bridges will update the community on programs and events available to the community.

This event will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Bridges. Interpreters and CART will be provided, as well as light refreshments.

The Center for Independent Living and the Tennessee Disability Coalition are excited to host the ADA Legacy Tour Event. We invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the East Park Community Center, 700 Woodland St. Nashville, TN 37206.  The ADA Legacy Tour will be at this location from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Nashville Mayor Karl Dean to speak between 1:00-1:30pm CDT in honor of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Legacy Tour "Road to Freedom" Bus visit.

Join us for Disability Day on the Hill 2015 on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Legislative Plaza 301 6th Ave North, Nashville, TN 37243.
