TRID 2013 State Conference

Our 2013 Tennessee RID State Conference is fast approaching this weekend in Memphis on June 7-8, 2013.  If you have not sent in your registration, come and pay at the door.  We will be at Deaf Connect of the Midsouth at 144 N. Bellevue, Memphis, TN 38104.

Friday night, June 7th
5 - 6 pm- Registration
6 - 9 pm- Workshop by our RID Region 2 Representative, Josh Penise. Josh will present Interpreting for Deaf People with Intellectual Disabilities for 0.3 CEUs

While you are certainly welcome to drop in anytime between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 4th, there will be a short presentation at 6:30 PM EST with specific information on Purple’s interest in branching out into Tennessee.

BSL Nashville focuses on preparing attendees to use performance interpreting skills for professional and local events. Because BSL Nashville is located here in Music City U.S.A. we have a unique opportunity to access a wide variety of musical styles and settings ranging from dinner theaters, to national shows, to local Honky Tonks, one time big named concerts, to the famous Grand Ole Opry stage.
