Our Congressman are headed home for a weeklong recess February 17-27.  Please make an effort to visit your Representative and  our Senators in their home offices, at town hall meetings, holiday parades, or rallies.

Congress has already begun the process of repealing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and it now is on the fast track to include significant cuts to the Medicaid program as part of the replacement plan through block grants or per capita caps.

9th Annual WellFEST is the only annual health and wellness exposition in the Nashville area that is fully accessible to individuals with any level of hearing loss. This free event will feature health screenings, informational booths, and other programming to help you live your best life!

Come learn more about your health and medication safety  from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. Information will be shared on heart health, Blood Pressure Screenings, Diabetes health, over the counter medication education and safety, and Women's health.

Interpreters will be provided.

The spring season is here now. This event is great for everyone - deaf and hard of hearing, ASL learners and interpreters!   You will enjoy looking around the public park that was created by God. "Prayer Hike" is an opportunity to slow down with Him and enjoy the beauty of nature. It will allow you an opportunity to engage your faith while being active and meeting others. TRID-Memphis Division and DeafConnect of the Mid-South, Inc in partnership with Pepnet 2 is bringing Community Emergency Response Team Training (CERT) to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Interpreter communities in Memphis and the Mid-South Area. 

CERT Training and certification takes place over two days.  Both days MUST be attended for certification:
