This is an informational meeting for people to learn about Tennessee Hands & Voices in order to share the mission of the organization to grow the support system for those in the area with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

 Hands and Voices is a non-profit, parent-driven organizadedicated to providing support for families of children who are deaf or Hard of Hearing.  The motto of "what works best for your child is what makes the choice right" shows how the organization supports families without bias around modes of communication or methodology.

The event, free and open to the public, will be held in the Health & Physical Fitness Center on the main campus of Chattanooga State Community College. Captioning will be provided for guests with hearing loss.

Ayah Bdeir, founder and CEO of littleBits, is an engineer, and one of the leaders of the Maker movement, which “creates and markets products that are recreated and assembled using unused, discarded or broken electronic, plastic, silicon or virtually any raw material and/or product from a computer-related device” (Technopedia).
