The Hearing and Speech Foundation's annual Taste of Mardi Gras Gala brings the tastes and flavors of the Bayou to Blount County.
This unique event provides guests with the opportunity to don Mardi Gras costumes, masks and beads and NEW this year, play in our FANTASY CASINO - enjoy blackjack, roulette, craps, three card poker & bingo.

Each attendee will receive $25,000 in play money to play and have a chance to bid on prizes.

CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence is a national fund- and awareness-raising walk created to help promote hearing health in our communities.  This "Walk" is sponsored by the Greater Knoxville Sertoma Club.

The HLAA Walk4Hearing takes place in 21 cities nationwide. With thousands of walkers representing so many people, we are raising awareness for hearing loss.

This is a kickoff on March 29th for Chattanooga's Walk 4 Hearing.  

Attention Walkers! Remember to bring your smart phones with you to the Walk because we will be streaming live CART to web-enabled smart phones. All pre-Walk speeches will be captioned on your iPhone, BlackBerry*, or Droid.

Art Show and sale of original local Deaf artisans' works.

Deaf culture art is more than just a painting, drawing, or crafts. It brings the Deaf community together.  Deaf culture art puts the feelings and emotions that many Deaf people experience into a variety of media.
