One-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:

-  special education law, rights and responsibilities
-  tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
-  SMART IEPs
-  introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy

Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The program is not disability specific.

Every two years, the AG Bell Convention brings together a diverse community that is committed to listening and spoken language for children and adults who are deaf and hard of hearing. We invite you to join more than 1,200 families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing, adults who listen and talk and the professionals that support them.

After a stimulating first international conference last year it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2nd conference on family-centred early intervention for children who are deaf or hard of hearing in Bad Ischl, Austria, from June 11th to 13th 2014. The Scientific Programme Committee (Christine Yoshinaga-Itano, Gwen Carr and Daniel Holzinger) as well as the local Austrian organizing committee, has started to prepare an international event that once again aims to provide a platform for Early Intervention professionals, researchers and parents to exchange evidence-based best practice.
