The public library in Memphis has joined up with the Deaf Family Literacy Academy to present fun and insightful programs for families with deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing children.

Fun & Food!  Just for 8-13 year old brothers and sisters of children with special needs.

Cost:$5.00 which includes supper
(A limited number of scholarships are available.)

No charge for this event. SIGNSATIONAL is being hosted by the Heritage High School ASL Club.  It will have deaf and (mostly) hearing students doing ABC Stories, ASL Poems, Deaf Skits, Handshape Stories, and some songs in ASL.

The Chattanooga State Music and Theatre Departments present the Broadway Musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” - music and lyrics written by Clark Gesner (based on the loveable Peanuts characters created by Charles Schulz). The production is directed by Jeff Parker with musical direction by Jennifer Arbogast and choreography by Lindsay Fussell ($10 donation, free admission for CSCC students and faculty with college identification).

Linda Hershey is captioning using our LED electronic captioning board.

We will meet out front a few minutes before 3 and go in as a group. If you are late, you can tell the front desk that you are a part of the TN Hands and Voices. 

Going out for dinner downtown afterward for those interested. Restaurant suggestions are welcome! 

The cost for the museum is free!
