A part of the Nashville International Puppet Festival.  This performance will be interpreted in American Sign Language. Open to the public.  For advance tickets:  click on the website above and then "Get Tickets".

Tickets are required for festival performances and can be picked up for free on the day of show at the downtown public library. Festival and special-event tickets may be reserved in advance online for a convenience fee of $2.50 or by calling (888) 516-5554.

Tickets not acquired in advance will be given away free the day of the performance.

This is a Christian based camp for kids ages 9-19. Kids can register for a free week of camp.  There are many opportunities for fun on the Bill Rice Ranch. We offer a sports tournament (basketball, volleyball, softball, and flag football) as well as other unique games. Deaf campers may also enjoy a horse ride, putt-putt, swimming, a hike, or simply talking with deaf friends from around the country at Cowboy Town.

Throughout the 8 weeks of the summer during Monday –Wednesday the focus is on enhancing communication skills such as ASL, problem solving, decision making, team work, cognitive processing and much more If someone enters camp for the first time with little to no language, then by the end of camp they will have learned a lot about how they can communicate through sign language. Our staff is fluent in ASL and have experience with teaching children, whether hearing or Deaf, sign language.

June 17-21 is for children in grades 6-12 and June 24-28 is for children in grades  kindergarten to 5th grade.  

In the morning campers will learn signs and in the afternoons there will be fieldtrips to practice the signs they learned.  

Camp costs $50 per camper.

The park is fully accessible for Dollywood's Deaf Awareness Day with all shows, rides, and demonstrations interpreted.

Interpreters at a variety of levels can volunteer to help.
