The Deaf Camp presents Daniel in the Lion’s Den.
July 28th @ 6pm in Hudson Hall at Brentwood Baptist Church. Join us and fill the audience for our campers and staff as they show how hard they have worked this summer. This dramatized musical has bad guys, surfers, crowns and 4 inch platform shoes which might lead to something comical. You will laugh. You will be inspired. You will leave encouraged at the outcome of one faithful man’s journey with His God. The performance will be interpreted into spoken English. Follow us on The Deaf Camp FB page.

Students will learn why it is important to advocate for themselves. They will learn different strategies and approaches of how to request for specific things, communicate their feelings, and respond to certain situations. They will apply what they learned to real-world scenarios. They will leave the workshop with a better understanding of their self-worthiness and how to be clear with others to advocate for themselves.
