Partnership for Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Event/Disability Rights TN are having Community Night "Self-Advocacy" with Nathan Walsh, DRT Staff Attorney. All are welcome!

Representative Darren Jernigan and Senator Steve Dickerson, both from Nashville, will be holding a public meeting to discuss the new School for the Deaf in Middle Tennessee that will be housed on the TSB campus.  Please see the attached letter.

You're invited to Partnership's community night town hall discussion with Chattanooga Police Chief David Roddy. This is an opportunity to ask questions, express fears and concerns, and share your culture. In addition to the Chief, there will also be a parole and investigation officer attending. Partnership is located at Eastgate Towne Center.

HLAA's guest speaker will be Jeff Carney, director of operations at Hamilton County 911. Jeff spoke to us last about progress concerning the text-to-911 change over. He will be updating us on the latest progress and hopefully tell us when we can expect text-to-911 service here.
